I started reading a book about Charles Darwin today. I have thought it many times before, but it occurred to me yet again today that Darwin's head is shaped almost exactly like a Neanderthal's scull. Does anyone else see the similarities in the shallow, almost receding forehead and pronounced brow ridges? How ironic it is, at least in my mind, that Darwin's anatomy supports the reality that Neanderthals are actually modern men, and not a distinct human species.
