Dr. Darrell Champlin went home to be with the Lord today. This man of God greatly impacted my life for the cause of missions and my knowledge of the Holy. "Well done thou good and faithful servant."

Saved to Serve

Jesus did not save us to sin - He saved us to serve (Gal 5:13).
Jesus did not save us to sit - He saved us to serve (Gal 6:9-10)

God's Work?

I thought of the following verse immediately when I recently read that some "clergy" are defending Planed Parenthood by saying that they are "doing God's work." "Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?" (Mal 2:17)
